Girls on the Run® is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.

Angela is currently serving as Chair of the External Affairs Committee with a focus on fundraising and development.  Angela has been successfully in making a passionate and direct ask so that people are inspired to give which has led to a 40% year-over-year increase in funds raised.

Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association
National, 2009-2012

The Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association is the voice of emergency medicine physicians-in-training and the future of the specialty. EMRA is the largest and oldest independent resident organization in the world.

While on the board, Angela served as Vice-Speaker and Speaker of the Representative Council, implemented a campaign that increased Program Representative participation by 20% (to over 90%) and led many advocacy efforts, including author of legislation Violence Prevention in the Emergency Department. 

She was also co-chair of the Legacy Initiative, which created a documentary on the history of Emergency Medicine, 24/7/365, and an archive of historical footage and interviews of the founders of the specialty.
